A medium-sized municipality in the southwest United States had experienced tremendous growth, evolving to the point where what they were known for no longer matched who they currently were. As the largest metro area within 200 miles, they needed something that reflected their vital role in the community, but they also wanted a new image that would represent the active pace at which the community moves today.
Public perception held this city as a retirement community, but in reality, innovations in education, technology, manufacturing, and medical sectors had taken them far beyond that. Their main objective was to make people aware of this new reality.

NEW MODERN REALITY
The city came to Rukkus for strategic help in broadcasting a new brand. With their new identity as a guide, we developed consistent messaging that would change public perception to match reality. Working with people at all levels city government, we created passionate advocates who were confident and excited to convey their message to the community. We enabled them to do so strategically and organically; with planned collaborative platforms (such as events), and formal and informal communications.
SUMMIT FOR INNOVATION
Through strategic outreach, Rukkus brought investors, technology executives, and key players from around the region to meet with local leaders and other influencers. Given an authentic view of the economic climate, they saw the value in creating and maintaining a presence here, making them ambassadors for the community. Rukkus continues to work with the city to evolve public perception both inside and outside the area, cultivating a robust economy people are proud to be a part of.
